The itinerary will include 2 days of whale watching and one day of hiking on Magdalena Island.

On your trip you'll enjoy incredible whale watching. The whaling is done on pangas in the calm waters of the Mangroves where the whales and calves are getting ready for their next migration. You'll have the opportunity to pet the whales with the professional guides on board. 

On hiking day we'll go south 25 miles to Puerto Magdalena and spend the day hiking up to Santa Maria Bay after a fresh seafood lunch. The lunch is luscious, with fish, shrimp, lobster and Chocolate clams all local and fresh. Non Seafood is also available. The restaurant and town of Puerto Magdalena is full of interesting history. 

The hike is rated easy along the sandy beach of Santa Maria Bay, this will take the afternoon and soon we are back up to Lopez Mateo by dark after another majestic cruise up the mangroves.

At the airport you'll be greeted by our staff who will then escort to shuttle vans. The van will transport you to San Carlos a three hour ride, to meet the Red Rooster III.
